hard starting after kn conefilter install...

Engine needs to crank way longer than usual after the install, I'm thinking that the mixture is too lean when cold. No problem when engine has been running awhile.

I thought the computer would automatically compensate for the increased air flow.

Any suggestions?

Did you remove your negative battery cable and turn the key to reset the computer. Then drive it around and it should reset to the correct settings.

Still have the problem, weird, I just installed a dual battery setup, and had to disconnect the - and + cables to shut the interior lights off.

Here's a picture of the setup on my pathetic webpage, could anyone tell me if I screwed up the plumbing? The only mod is drilling the oem intake tube and sticking the tube from the pcv into it, snugged in pretty well.
