How do I get the UCA Bushings out?!

The easiest method is to go to Autozone and pick up their c clamp type ball joint press kit they have in their tool loaner program. It will work miracles.

I have tried a claw puller,
No avail.
I tried a Deep socket and a long bolt.
Nada.
I tried a BFH.
Felt better, but NO.

OK, I give up.

Drill out the rubber around the metal bushing until it just falls apart. You could also use Mr. Torch and burn it out.

That's what I did, then used an air chisel to squash the sleeve and they poped right out(although in little pieces ;) ).

The quickest and easy way to do it is with a zip gun(air hammer)
Very fast. The best way to get them back in a a ball joint tool as someone stated aready! I have done a ton of these this way

Yet Another Tip......

Put those UCA bushings in the freezer before you try to press them in.
