AW4 shift problems

I have an 87 4.0 and my AW4 won't shift out of 1st unless I let off the throttle. It will stay in gear past the red line. it only does it in 1st. I have replaced the TPS, checked the fluid and TV cable.

Anyone got any ideas?

Could be your TCU or the shift solenoid in the tranny.
