Speedo Gear

I am running 4.56's and 33" tires and calculate that I will require a speedo gear with 37 teeth. The problem is that my local Jeep dealer tells me that the available gears jump from 36(which I have) to 39. Is this true, and if so what are others doing to cure the problem?
 
A search of the forum showed that a 39 or 40 tooth gear might be the right one. Is anyone running 33' MTR's with 4.56 gears? If so what gear are you using?
 
i believe mine is the 40 tooth...took few trips to the jeep house..i have become good friends with the parts guy so he was cool about returning the speedo gear until i hit it....4.56/with 33 boggers...||charles||
 
I am using a 38 toothed gear with my 33" MT/Rs (actual 32.8").

38 gear was most accurate in the calculations I did and when I used a stock XJ to pace me, we were both the same speed at 65 mph.
