Hi all!
The Annual Clean-up is to be held next weekend on Saturday 9/25! Our club will be handling the section of trail from Ellis Creek to Buck Island and we'll need an additional 20-25 volunteers to get the job done. We have split the section into 3 sub-sections;
*Ellis Creek to the top of Walker- Team Leader- Mark Langford
*Walker to top of Little Sluice- Team Leader- Aaron Beckstead
*Little Sluice to Buck Island- Team Leader- Mike Elrod
The Ellis and Walker groups will stage at Ellis Creek and the Little Sluice group will stage down in the trees on the east side of Little Sluice.
Here's the plan:
*Objective- pick up any and all garbage and human waste.
*block off illegal bypasses.
*Root protection for the trees at the entrance to Little Sluice.
*Drainage work on and at top of Walker
*Clean-up outhouses at Ellis Creek
Timing: All groups will hold their briefings at 9:00am.
Tools to bring: garbage bags, gloves, shovel, 5 gal bucket, chain
Food: please bring your own lunch and drinks
CB Channel- 10
I will be camped at Ellis Creek Friday afternoon.
Please post up if you can work any of these sections;)
I look forward to meeting many new faces this year. I hope you can help us with this important project.

Looks like I'll be heading in sometime Friday. Don't know if I have to work Friday morning or not. I'll likely be staying at Ellis Creek Friday night and will be working on the trail between Ellis and the box someplace.
Please come help if you can.

I'll be there. I'll be leaving after my buddy (riding with me) gets off work on Friday night. We'll camp at Ellis Creek and work between there and the box. If there's a raffle this year, we'll stay for that and then boogie home on Sat. night. Hope to see some of ya'll up there.
