Yes, Sawzall standing by. Front spacer and rear shackle should help get them in there. (?) Will go 32's if that is what the XJ masters say would work better. It will be more of a trail rig than DD so massaging the vehicle to make it work well off road will happen. I am looking for any constructive criticism or advice that the XJ Jedi's have to offer. (i know, stupid Star Wars reference) Anyhow, Excuse my XJ newbieness and Help a guy out....... Please?
Look forward to seeing any of you XJ folks out on the trail soon!

Get a set of 33's if that's what is your dream and work the sawzall magic :D I had 33's on 3.5" RE packs + MJ shackle before I rolled it. Now I got 4.5" RE packs with no MJ shackle (damn things still sit at about 6"+). ANyways, carve the front up and put TJ flares or something like that and cut bend trim pound the rear.

Get the 33's and some bushwacker cut out flares and you shouldn't have rubbing problems. I have a 6" lift with those fenderflares and 35' MTRs with very little rubbing.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I have read my butt off about this topic and Many agree that 33's are very doable w/ the 4.5" lift. I will be getting on it as soon as the 31's and rims are sold and I have some 33's. Time to start posting the 31's for sale.

hey, with those 1.25 inch shackles you are getting 33's will be no problem, depending on how you set up the front to match the rear. RE's 5.5 inch kit is actually the RE1462 springs like you are getting, and a 1.25 inch shackle. should all work together nicely.

Thats why they are for sale. They look great, but I couldn't do to them what I have done to other wheels in the rocks. Some black steelies are going on w/ 33's soon. Anyone need some Bling wheels for their DD XJ?
