AAL Install Question

Have installed a AAL on my 90 MJ and the spring clips (rebound clips) no longer fit, they are rivited at the bottom so they are still there and will prevent fanning of the spring pack but the top bolt on the clip does not have enough enough room to fit back through the clip. Do I even need these clips ?????

No. But only remove the problem one not all of them.

The stock set up had two clips per side and both were problems.

I'd leave them there as they help keep the leaves from fanning out. Otherwise it's no problem leaving the bolts out, or otherwise leaving them open on top.
