Quick help

I am looking at buying a 1996 XJ. It has:

White
4.0L
231 t-case
rear defroster
rear wiper
cruise control
107,000 miles

It doesn't have the center console, roof rack, ABS, or anything like that. The body is perfect, not even a scratch. The engine compartment is nice. It was a government vehicle, from the state of Washington. It even has the spotlight that the police cars use on the a-pillar (i think that what it's called). There are stains on the carpet.

The owner is asking $4700. Is this too much? Are there particular known troubled areas I should be looking for?

check www.KBB.com for pricing... if is a "police pkg" you probably will find some good heavy duty upgrades on it.. oil and tranny coolers.. up-country suspension.. bigger amp alternator... all the goodies.. id grab it if you think its reasonable
