I must be a XJ magnet.. That 91 XJ I got for $200, I got running just now!! I cant wait to get the tranny bolted more securely and get it on the road!!! actually runs good too!

Hehe, yea, I finished doing the bolts on the bellhousing... put the 2 in for the crossmember (of 4).... and put a new U-joint in the rear d-shaft... hmm what else... total cost for this pig is under $300 so far,,,,

This rig you picked up for $300, your "cheap" XJ, right? Don't those always end up being $10k cars?

true true.... My other XJ, an 89 was for free.. i got that running... it also has a new wheel bearing... rod bearings, oil pump... etc... if it is 10k, its 10k well spent

Have just lover $2000 total in it

It's just like having a car payment, but I don't have to get full coverage, and If I don't make the "payment" I just can't drive it until I do.
