My old Jeep had a heavy guard welded to the frame and it took some heavy hits and never hurt the Jeep or the giard. For example I was hauling rear down a dirt path at a buddy;s property in Florida...when I hit a corner and see a tortoise in the path-instinctivley swerved off the path and whacked a tree. Jeep stalled then sarted right back up...what I'm wondering is with these newer frames [tri-frames?] is how is the best way to mount a good heavy guard to protect the front end?

Well IMHO.....

The best way to protect the front is with a heavy buty bumper with the guard built into it! Like C4x4, ARB, etc.....
