I'm getting MAP sensor errors (1-4) so I replaced the offending $30.00 sensor. Problem is that I'm still getting the same code. The XJ runs great and I wouldn't have worried about it `cept that when I put new plugs in the old ones were all definately running lean. Any suggestions or "don't worry about it" comments would be appreciated.

did you reset the computer by disconecting the battery for a few min?

Yes I did, a couple of times. I don't even have to start it......just turn the key on and off and it'll store MAP sensor codes.

what exactly does the code say?

If it's the 91-96 chrysler system it won't reset from being disconnected. It will hold a code for 50 key-on cycles unless it's reset with the DRB tool, according to my FSM. If it's running fine, I'd not worry for a while at least.
