custom windshield

I rolled my chopped xj on slickrock and crushed both windshield A pillars and both front fenders. The rest is just a cage so it obviously didnt get hurt. I am going to take the fenders off and make tubular fenders in the shape of the original one and make a custom "windshield" frame and use plexiglass. I have a few design ideas but i was just wondering if anyone had done this before? If not then i guess that i will be the first. Here are some pics of it before the roll to give you a better idea of what it looks like.
