I have just gotten around to replacing my sagging leaf springs with replacements from a junkyard. While searching the forum, I read about gaining an inch or so of lift by taking the full length leaf from an old spring pack and adding it to the newer one. Has anyone done this or heard of it being done? I am not interested in 6" of lift, but if I can gain a little without too much trouble I'll do it. Also, should I buy some new harware (U-bolts, bushings) to go with the newer springs or should I just re-use everything if it's in good condition?
Thanks, Matt
