What wheel width would you recommend for 33X12.5-15s?

8" or 10" wheels for 33s

Some 15x4 wheels will protect the sidewall better.
Seriously, either will work well.
The 8" will cause the tire to 'balloon out' more and will protect the rim, but will wallow more in turns at speed.
The 10" will create more of a footprint and provide a bit more lateral stability.
I would just stick with your 15x8 rims, since you have them already.

I've run both sizes but have stuck with the 8"s. the 10" rims exacerbated my death wobble so until that got fixed I went back to 8" and have been happy.

Unless you like to drive extra fast on the street stick with 8" rims
less chance of rim damage and better bear retention.
