i need help with the short shaft kit the directions are really bad and i cant follow them. anyone offer any good advise i got the exstension off and drive shafts but cant get the rest of the rear off and dont know why tech support could not help can Anyone give advice?????????

I ordered it from advanced adapters... i think its the same one that comes in the RE catolog....the heavy duty one

There's a snapring that holds the small dome-shaped housing portion in place. Remove the snapring from the tail shaft with a pair of snapring pliers. When reassembling use the new snapring that came with the kit.

the one out side the bearing i already removed is there another one ????

I think the directions are very clear and thorough!Go back and check off each step as you go!You said you got the tailshaft housing off,have you got the case to split yet(did you get ALL the bolts out)?
