Crooked Coils...bowed out?

Take a look at the pictures @
http://www.forestfalls.com/blankpage.html they are thumbnails-click to make larger.

I put new 4.5 inch coils on my jeep. I had about a 3" lift before. I also added longer 16.5 lca and my coils have a severe bow in them. Any suggestions on how to get the bow out? It also has a bad caster vibration that I am trying to work out.

I have seen people take a torch to balance them, but I don't want to lose any lift.

Leaving for church, won't be back till 12:00

You need to install some adjustable control arms. Fix the castor, that will fix the springs.

I looked at the chart for the lengths of the lca. It looks like I have the right length.

Here's a table of CA lengths depending on the amount of lift you have:

Lift......................LCA............./............UCA
********Decimal**Fraction**Decimal**Fraction
Stock........15.75.......15 ¾........15.00.......15
2”.............15.92.......16............14.88.... ...15
3”.............16.09.......16............14.92.... ...15
4”.............16.33.......16 3/8......15.03.......15
4.5”..........16.47.......16 ½........15.11.......15
5”.............16.62.......16 5/8......15.21.......15 ¼
6”.............16.97.......17............15.44.... ...15 ½
7”.............17.36.......17 3/8......15.74.......15 ¾
8”.............17.81.......17 ¾........16.09.......16
9”.............18.30.......18 ¼........16.50.......16 ½
10”...........18.82.......18 ¾........16.96.......17

I would estimate by looking at the jeep that 19.5" lca would have the coil in the correct position with the bumpstop and the angle. Do you measure center of the bolt to the center of the other bolt or end to end? If I extend the lca will that change the pinion angle?

Are the shims on the lca frame mounts bolted in place? I'm not quite sure what the shims are that you are refering to. I appreciate your help.
