Tom Wood's sells an SYE for the 242, but it is just a stock shaft that they hack and tap for you.

I believe Currie still makes a kit for the 242.
Thanks for all the info. i've written to Currie and they don't make one. So the two choices that I have is either the RE hack and tap or Tom Wood's tapped kit.
How do you know if you have 21 or a 23 spline case besides physically counting it? Does it go by year?

Does the RE Hack and Tap and Tom Woods end up with the same amount of Drive Shaft(relatively) or can you get a longer drive shaft with Tom's kit. say 1-2" longer. just wondering. If the lengths are relatively the same, seems the RE Hack and Tap will be the economical way to go.
