Power seat moving by itself?

I have a 90 Cherokee Laredo and I have noticed that If I adjust the seat (drivers seat) the way I want I will notice in the next time I get back in or next few times it will be closer that I wanted. I know that it doesnt have memory seats to each drivers setting but man Im sure getting frustrated. It gets hard to get in sometimes.

look under the seat frame for chaffed wiring.

As mentioned earlier, check for chafed wires, after the switches, under the seat. If it's only moving forward, you can likely pinpoint the actual wire since each function is run by a separate switch and the four wires for that switch control horizontal and vertical movement. Trace the wires and you should find your problem.
