XJ 44 axle swap in ABS jeep

I have a 1991 laredo with ABS Brakes:( I bought a dana 44 out of a XJ with the same gears as mine. Will I need to do anything to the brake system other than bleed it after install? Or am I going to have problems?

I have been told it will work fine...just no rear abs of course....I am doing the opposite...installing a dana 44 wiht abs into a non abs MJ

It'll work fine....I pulled the ABS fuse and relay, and cut the wires going to the rear axle. no ABS anymore, d44 in the rear, no problems.

I don't have any problems with mine with the exception of my ABS light coming on whenever I tap the brakes.....

My abs light is on continuously...I just put a piece of electrical tape over that and the stupid shift light. Much less annoying.
