I need some steering pics.

I recently built a tie rod and drag link for my XJ and i'm wondering if the drag link is getting enough movement.
i mounted my tie rod and drag link with heims on all ends, and the drag link to the top of my knuckle. I tried to get the drag link to rotate up to my pitman and it is limited by the knuckle and the jam nut..


I would say the drag link can rotate up 30 or so degrees.. shouldn't i be able to get more out of it?

can anyone post up some pics for reference?

one other thing, after i was searching i've noticed people using spacers between the drag link and the knuckle and smaller nuts so the the heim doesn't bind on the knuckle and nut..

is this my problem?
