Cage

Okay, this may make me sound like a moron but i really don't understand. Eventually, after i learn how to weld, i want to make a cage for my 2001 xj. I was just wondering where you attach the cage. If anyone has any pictures it would be greatly appreciated.

your going to want to weld like some 6"x6" steel plate (or larger) to the floor where the tube comes down and weld the tube to that. Some people also weld additional plate to the bottom of the floor and tie it into the rock rails if you got those
