Looking to use the factory wiring plugs to install a set of hellas on my rig. Found the wiring ends and plugs, but where do I splice them in at ? Wire color is green and black. Now I know black is ground, green= power but can I tap them into the original harness? I took off the plate where the fog light switch goes and I have the plug in behind the dash.

Want it to look factory, not hokey...

Do a search, I covered this last week. Unless you have the factory fogs from the factory you will not have any sockets in the power distrubution center which is where that single plug behind the blank faceplate goes. If you want it to look 'factory' you need to get the Jeep factory wiring kit, www.jeepsareus.com have them at a reasonable price. If you found ONE black/green cable up front in the middle of the bumper area thats for the temp sensor for the overhead console. The kit comes with all the stuff you need but I only used the inside part and used the hella wiring as it is a heavier grade than the factory wiring even in the 'kit'

i agree, the factory harness is much cleaner no matter what lights you put on the car. ignore any wiring already in the vehicle and get the factory harness, whether it is from jeepsareus or the factory.
