No AC or cooling fan, what gives??

I have a 94 XJ, 4.0. A while back, i noticed the electric fan was not coming on when the jeep got up to remp. it would still come on when I turned on the AC though. Last summer, the AC got warmer and warmer, and i noticed the AC clutch wasn't coming on, and neither was the fan. I tested the AC switch, and it works. Tested the fan itself, it works. If I jump the AC relay, the clutch engages, but blows warm air and still no cooling fan. I am getting a few codes, those related to the AC clutch circuit, cooling fan relay, and one other coolant related one which I forget. Anyone have a direction here? Is it someting simple maybe? I do not yet have a service manual, so I was hoping someone may have a clue here. thanks alot.

Is there any refrigerant in the AC system? It sounds like you are out. Not sure about the fan, though.
