I was ready to remove the original rubber line in the rear and put in the SS Braided one that comes with the RE3.5" lift.

My delima is I cannot remove the existing hose from the original mount. It's rusted beyond removal. The only way would be to cut the hard line back about 3", re-flare then add the SS Braided line. I think this would defeat the purpose of the SS extension.
How much dificulty would it be to replace the whole hard line?
It is failry cheep per foot, already flared, just needs to be bent in the proper areas.
DC does not sell pre-fab lines for my year any more.

If this is not too difficult, How long of a straight hard line would I need? :dunno:

I would go back to the cleanest straight section I could find and splice it in there.
We have steel lines up to 4 ft available local. To connect it do you use a double flare or compression fitting?
