2000 Motor Swap to a 92 XJ

I blew my motor this weekend. Had 170,000 miles on it. Ive been lookin for a new motor and I see alot of newer 97-2001 motors with low mileage. Do i need the exact year motor for my 92 or can i do some configuring and use a 2000 motor. I found a 2000 motor with 60,000 miles, what all will be involved in doing a swap like this. Any info helps.
