mounting an electric fan in XJ

I searched and didnt find the method used. I know it has been done but all I can find are those POS straps at Advance Auto, that you feed through the radiator and slide a retainer on. I have seen those used before and they tend to come off....Any other suggestions. Pics if ya have'em.

That method is never adviced by any well respected fitted for a 4wd. They will over time rub through the core. If you are going to replace the machical fan then you can fit it to the original shroud like I show on my site.
