my buddy has a ling on a rolled 99 and was thinking about buying it to get the transmission and other sellable parts off of it.

would there be any issues in the 99 to 94 swap??
OBDI vs OBDII ?
pre 97 vs post 97 ?

Thanks!

I think it should work for you. The '99 has more speed sensors I think. 3 total. One in the bell housing reads the flexplate, a 2nd in the front of the tranny measuring input rpm and the 3rd at the output end.

Wiring harness will be different, but the solenoids are still the same ~12 ohm solenoids so your TCM shouldn't have any trouble shifting it.

The pins on the harness connectors can be pulled out and put into different connectors. You can probably just swap the connectors, but worst case is that you may need to swap over the harness from your '94 to the '99 for the connectors to plug into your chassis harness.
