10-ply Tire

Has anyone run a 10-ply tire?
What do you guys think about it?

I want to run the 285/75/16 Trxus, but I'm not sure how a 10-ply tire will ride and perform. I'm afraid it will be way too stiff on road and not flex enough offroad.

10 ply for a 3500 XJ will be a really stiff ride. I have 6 ply SX's and they seem to do well. The benefit of 10 ply is less of a chance at a sliced sidewall.
