Since I'm too cheap to pay for membership, I'm not sure I can post a link. If it works, the link is safe. I thought this was pretty funny. The location is about 50 miles north of Houston along side I-45. The time is after 40" of rain in the first six months of the year.

If the link doen't work then I've just wasted your time. I'll shut up now :gag:

Thats a Grand cherokee owner for you. Probably the only time he gets off road is in the 7-11 parking lot.

What are you talking about he's offroad right now! Probably tried to make a u turn and got stuck. Doesn't know about that 4wd shifter on the center console!

Maybe you should delete and post it in the proper forum, Non-Tech.

My wife has a 97 Grand that looks just like that. I try to convince her that they are one of the most capable off road vehicles there are but she doesn't want to listen. That poor rig will never see the off road.

He is showing the technical aspects of off roading a grand.

Few thoughts:

In the pics is a statement "A winch might have helped". Connected to what? Another vehicle? A strap would work also in that case.

Slide marks make it look almost like an accident avoidance thing or maybe he saw a traffic jam and decided to turn around.

Now as for the stuck and comments from here...no one here has ever underestimated the road/driving surface and gotten stuck? You're all perfect?
