Steering knuckles swap from 01 to 88?

I have my 88 HP D30 almost ready to swap in. I found out that brake pad selection is limited on the older D30's. My current LP D30 is out of an 01 TJ.

I want to know if there are any issues with swapping out the 88 HP D30 steering knuckles with the LP D30 ones. I have the rotors and calipers for either one and shafts and hubs to.

I know the hubs and rotors have to match, and like I said I have that covered.

Well when did you change them last?

They still feel pretty tight.

Update! It worked perfectly, now I can get those fancy ceramic pads!

I was wondering the same thing only using the WJ axle..That would give bigger brakes.
