where to get the fitting/bushing??

i need a few fitting/bushing that connect the 4x4 lever(linkage) to the t-case. i went to autozone and they told me it's the dealer item.
whereelse can i get them?

I could only find them at a dealer. They were about $2-2.50 each if it's the part I think you mean (the plastic or rubber bushings that go between the linkage rod and linkage arms) The plastic ones are green and the rubber ones are black. I changed some of the green ones to black and it solved my "linkage rod falling off") problem since the black ones are more flexible.

Glad to help: black rubber ones part # 3575333 were $2.90 each at my local dealer. Don't know the number for the green plastic ones.

how hard to put the thing back on to place? do i need to un-bolt any thing to get the link back on?

Easy, just snap the new grommet into the linkage arm, then snap the rod in place.
