Electric fan sending unit

Can someone tell me where the temp sending unit is located that automatiacally turns on the electric fan on a 90 closed system. If i am correct in my thoughts it is on the drivers side of the radiator just below the trans line. Looks like about a 1" threaded nut.

its threaded into the radiator just above the lower hose

Thats Great! I did the open conversion on my 90 this weekend and it had that spot threaded so i put a new sending unit in it.

What radiator did you use that had both the cap and the hole for the fan temperature switch?
