Gas tank skid-will other models fit??

I am having a hard time finding a gas tank skid for my 2000 XJ for cheaper than $139. Does anybody know if gas tank skids from wranglers or grands will fit?? Thanks -Shawn

I don't "know," but it has been reported that the skid for a ZJ Grand Cherokee (not the '99 and newer WJ) will fit. It would be best to take measurements to confirm if you go junkyard hopping.

I know that a skid for a '88 or older XJ will not fit. The plastic tank is larger than the metal, even though the capacity is the same.
