Okay, so I got a dual diaphram master cylinder that I'm going to put in the XJ but have a couple questions.
First, I'd like to clean it up before I install it, my question is this: Can I remove the roll pins in the picture so I can remove the reservoir and give it a bath. There are two rubber gasket looking guys there, according to my parts catalog these are not available to purchase (no parts, only the complete unit), has anybody done this?

Second, for the proportioning valve. Do I have wiring going into mine that can use this spot, I would assume this is for the braking system "oh shit!" light. Too tired to go downstairs and walk a block to my Jeep.
