Indeed Gil. I did my time as well, but I have the deepest respect for those serving now..... in harms way or not. Each and every person serving or having served is important to our country.

lol nope the bunny slippers are home in WA for when i go home during winter (upper level in house is not heated (100 year old farmhouse). thats an extra pair of boots yr lookin at. we wear flipflops/sandals whenever we get a chance....to hot for anything else but bikinis/shorts and flipflops.

the tenny runners? those are the new nike shox (i gotta be nice to my feet otherwise they are not nice to me). they're really comfy, and hold up well out here, surprisingly enuf....i just wish i wouldnt have gotten white.......they show the dirt really well.......oh well, tryin to keep the feet cool, gotta compromise somehow.

nah, you gotta remember theres mostly guys out here....while some of 'em drool over mags like jp, 4 wheel and offroad, petersons, etc. . . most of 'em are craving the nekkid female bod...the whole raging hormone, cant do nothin about it thing.....tends to make 'em cranky, so i happily turn over my victoria secrets mags

my brother in law was over there around the time the ammo dump exploded after the 1st gulf war (in fact he was inside the fence at the time, said he was more scared when after he got over the fence and the Bradley's showed up he knew how bad of drivers the guys in his outfit were), he said he would put water in a cup swish it around to clean out the sand, pour out the water and damn more sand, do it again same thing, so he just started liking crunchie water,

family, it it were up to me, i'd say NO WAY JOSE!!! Granted, the money has been good and its allowed me to pay off all my other debt, and buy a new toy (my cj5) and buy some new stuff for myself, but I wouldnt wish this place on anybody. Thats just my two cents.....i'd hate for anyone to be out here....this place sucks major arse. i say we go home and let the iraqi's fight it out amongst themselves, thats what they've been doin for the past 2000 years anyhow, another couple more sure as hell aint gonna hurt em. I've done my time, SEND ME HOME!! Dont worry, if i go to 101st, i might be back out here beginning of next year (oh goodie) so i might need someone w/ space to store my jeeps for me, and drive em around a little to keep em driven (got any takers???) hope to see yall soon and wheel w/ ya!!!

I found out that I will not be going anytime soon. Or at least till Feb. I can take care of the XJ or the Cj for ya. I already have 3 Jeeps and a Scion in the yard. All the guys I run with have CJ's, so if you need parts for it when you get back give me a shout. Be safe.........DuG
