Door removal

I have a 96 2door XJ, it has just shy of 3" lift on it, 30x9.5 tires.... I want to remove the doors, not for offroad use, just for summer fun. Any ideas on whether this is safe for the Jeep and any suggestions on how to do it? I have crank windows, push button locks, and nothing electrical on the door except the buzzer and the dome light. Thanks.

All that I can say is that taking your doors off isn't that hard just as long as you don't have power windows.
