I'm building a new tie-rod for my front dana 44. After I remove the old unit and install the new DOM unit, How should I adjust my toe-in adjustment? Should the tires be perfectly parallel or should they be toe-in alittle. If toe-in, how much is recommended, 1/16", 1/8", etc... I'm running 33" MTRs.
Thanks,
Sean M.

I run mine with about 1/8" toe in(33" MT/Rs).

I run mine at 0. Shouldn't have any play or DW problems with the D44, no real reason to not run 0.

I'd shoot for 0 and err towards a very slight (1/16") toe-in for the sake of adjustment tolerance.

Depends also on your transfercase. If you have Command trac then you should run a little toe in but otherwise it should be at 0 so you can run in permanent 4wd without extra tyre wear and better steering. All front wheel drives also set it at 0 for the same reason.
