bent nuckle...

lol, yea thats always an option....

i imagine that cast iron wouldnt like being bent 2 times...might crack.

can you cut off and replace the knuckle? anyone????????

Thanks

easiest thing.... D30s are cheap go to a yard and get another complete axle.

That is not cast iron anyway, it is steel. So you could bend it back possibly but it is some stiff stuff. It would never be aligned again properly I bet.

Hmm,, I always that is was steel. if it is cast iron I would not recomend welding it back on.

axle housings are cheap at the bone yards.. at least in the omaha area. about 70 bucks that includes the shafts to the hubs.

I have a housing you can have for free. Just come pick it up. I live on the north side of Phoenix.

It's a high pinion Dana 30. There are no sway bar hookups, and the track bar mount has been raised, so it's not exactly a bolt in swap, but it would make a great rockcrawler axle.

PM or e-mail if you want more info. e-mail
