Is this brace needed?

Does it do anything other than hold the under engine splash guard that I no longer have? I have already deleted the one that goes to the outside of the fender due to trimmed fenders. Sorry for hijacking the pic Handlebars, hope you don't mind.

I just cut mine out a couple weeks ago. Did nothing but get in the way.

Mine met Mr Plasma and unfortunately they did not make very good friends... I just chopped of the bottom two sides and left the upper strut... :rolleyes:

Did not matter much in my case as my tube fender is welded to a chunk of 3/8" plate that bolts to the bumper... :D

its just to mount the horn on and to support all that fender crap. I, like many cut it off when i did my fender chop.
Get rid of it and relocate the horn

As said before, it just holds the fendor steady. Get rid out.
