Well, being the new XJer (modding them at least) Ghost and 2offroad has offered to help me slap on my 3" kit and romp through Ghost's back yard! The word on the street is Ghost has an open invite to turn this into a get-together, so anyone who can make it, should.

Hartsville,SC at my office/shop on Hwy 151. Anyone is welcome to come down and help or just laugh! Its south of Charlotte about 1.5 hours and north of Darlington by about 20 min. give me a PM and I'll shot you directions and phone numbers. I think southern is supose to be here about 10:00ish!

OOppps! This Saturday! Yea it is but we like to wing it! 5/8/04 Hell no its only 2 to our farm in Aiken! And I use to be able to get anywhere in Auscusta in 45 mins from there! I'd say 3 tops! If you go 70 the whole way!

North Georgia military college and state University (computer sci major). Took 5 years, but hey, he has a kid and is married so some slack has to be given! Yes, he is commisioning and already has his orders ( :( ).

lift went on great looks good. we went wheeling afterwards, one broke driveshaft and one blown water hose later we were back at the shop. great day wrenching and wheeling.

My day went so-so: got the tranny filter mounted & plumbed, when I primed up the cooler (AC condenser) I found a massive core leak where I had tweaked the output fitting... Got disgusted, went in/ate lunch & took a nap. Tomorrow's projects be stealing the condenser off the MJ to finish that on the XJ, replacing the alternator in my DD XJ, and maybe do some plumbing for the OBA.

Thanks a ton guys! Made it home before the wife, figures since I hauled ass home that she's in Pineville eating with the kid. :P

Yeah, I got a few cool pics of the wheeling and I'll get them off the camera and hosted Monday. I'll shoot the pics up Monday evening or durring the day if I can keep the boss off my back.

Rode home great. I think the ride is better now than pre-lift. Only problem is at 55 the shimmy sucks, but that was there before the lift and it still could use an alignment, toe adjustment and I wouldent doubt a fresh balance just to top if off.

Hopefully if the Relay for Life isnt the end of mine, the wife/kid/I can show up at Morrow Mountain and they can get to meet you guys. Wife missed me so it's off to bed...... :greensmok

Please email them to me! picturem@yahoo.com Been thinking about the Rear DS again and I bet those blocks are causeing the pinion to rotate up and bind the DS hence the straps break! Enjoyed the wrencing and playing in the yard and wheeling in the clay pit! We will have to get toghther again, and I think a trip to Saudi might just be in order! :confused1 Hopefully I can get the new springs on this week and the DS fixed yet again!

Sounds liek yall had a blast! Graduation was ok (one speech lasted almost 45 minutes!) Commssioining was cool too. Me and my other brother got to pin his bars on (I think he is a second leutenent (sp?) ). Him and his wife are on ft lauderdale now (lucky sobs, but they deserve it!)
Anyways, next wrenchfest plan a little in advance and hopefully i can make a weekend out of it and learn some useful stuff.

Amen that one brother! Jeepers with young families find tiem whenever they can! I'm up for a wrench fest any time at the shop! it may be trashed and dissorganized but its got a hard floor and heat in the winter!
