Hey guys I was thinking about rear disks today and then it hit me I have all the disk break parts from a broken left over D30 and was wonderig if it would be possible to remove the disk parts and then put them on the rear D44 Im using I know I would probablly have to weld and fabricate brackets but what do you all think?

Any one ever just used the D30 calipers and disks?

Thanks in advance, any help will be appreciated.

Contact Kudzu or BamaXJ. He built a bracket on the giveaway XJ last year that allowed him to put D30 brakes on the rear axel.

Something to consider would be lack of E-brakes!Just do a ZJ or 8.8 brakes.

Myself and YUPPIEXJ did the exact same thing on the 44 he got from me. I still need to work on the TC e-barke mount but damn if time has gotten the best of me.
