I want to thank all those who support our Chapter by attending the run in Moab last week. I also want to thank those who helped behind the scenes in the planning and execution of the BBQ and raffle, as well as the trail leaders and gunners who kept thing running smooth and safe. We had a few mechanical difficulties, but thanks to those who pitched in to help out others, these were all overcome.

We also want to thank our raffle sponsors and food donors, I have an appreciation letter drafted that we will send out to all vendors that participated. Let's show our thanks to them by sending business their direction.

Yeah!, lets hear it for our sponsors! I won the $100 gift certificate from Les Schwab Tires in Taylorsville, I cashed it in for an add-a-leaf kit for my Sub/Toe rig, they were very friendly & helpfull. I paid them an additional $83 for the instal (which included 2 new U-bolts & 2 new wheel studs) SWEET! These guys took real good care of me as they do with all of the customers that came in while I was there. I'll be dealing with them in the future & would recomend them to all NAXJA members! Thanks, Jeff for all your work (and I'm sure countless others) for lining up the sponsors & getting this thing off the ground, it's way COOL!! :yelclap:

BTW: is anyone still doing the Beto's thing on Sunday morning thing, I'ld like to hook up with some of you if it is still going on :wave1:

Yeah, it was a great time. I won a Rocklogic 4x4 t-shirt and $50.00 from Tom Wood himself!
It was very generous for these businesses to donate what they did. If we ever need any work done, I think we should really consider these local companies that not only contribute to our club but also contribute to 4wheeling and outdooor recreation.
It was good to meet you and your family Chummerin and it was good to meet all those I hadn't before. It's nice to put a name with a face.
See ya'll at the next meet! party1:

Agreed. We spend a lot on our sport, and it's nice to know the vendors appreciate our business, as well. And like Chummerin indicated, when we wander in with a gift certificate, we usually end up spending 2x as much, cuz....we can!

Julie and I had a great time and can't wait to do it again. Actually we're going back to Moab next week on an Elephant Hill camping trip. :D Anyone wanna go? There's room for a few more vehicles on our backcountry permit.
Jack thanks for your help getting me up and running again. That rachet strap was a lifesaver.

Poomba, I didn't see your Jeep at JR's today. I hear it's breathing again. Woohoo!!!

Duane, I'm up for a Beto's breakfast again. I'll have to sit out the next few weeks though; Mother's Day this Sunday and I'll be in Moab on the next.

Yep, it's over at A1, figuring out why it idles, but cuts out when throttle is pushed. The brakes should be done (master cylinder/booster/lines; new pads I did already), and yay..the mirrors work :P. So, IF they can figure out the idle question, it'll be ready to be worked on. I had reserved a spot in Canyonlands campground 21st to the 24th, but, the locals fell thru, so, guess I'm not going after all. Had wanted to earn my stickers, so I need to cancel those. Anyway, have fun down there next week :)
