brake line extension

I have done a search on this and some said to throw the extension out and others just said get longer brake lines. I got a Rusty's 3" lift and it came with the extension, question is how do I get the brake line off the bracket it is currently on now and put it on the extension. Thanks in advance.

soak in penetrating oil for a day or two... then remove the clip...

Do yourself a favor and just use a rear brake line for a '95 Wrangler instead. It's about 3" longer and can be had for around $20. Repositioning the metal line to gain 2" is not as good.

96 Dodge Dakota is the best line,good to about 7" lift!
