Dose anyone know about regearing the speedo on earlier XJ’s? I found the Cherokee America’s write up but it’s all about the wire activated later style. My 87 is of course the cable style. I just changed ratios a put on big tiers. Can anyone who has done this give my a quick run though of what is involved? I have already replaced the cable (broke it putting in the new gages) so I am familiar with the general setup.
