Transmision tailshaft swap

Does anyone know anything about swaping the tail shaft for my just rebuilt trans on my 97 XJ sport 4.0(2wd)? Im doing a conversion and i dont wanna purchace a new trans....(not an option)

It requires a full transmission breakdown because not just the tailstock needs to be changed. The 2WD output shaft is much longer than one used with a transfer case, so you need to change that too. I found it much easier to use a donar transmission when I did my conversion.
