The reason I didn't put this on the classified forum is because they'd cost too much to ship.

D44 needs axle shafts and ring and pinion. $200 plus your old rear end.

4.0 with 162k miles, non HO ('88 ) $550 OBO.

Let me know soon. These will be gone by Friday.

...and of course, I can supply gear work for the 44, if needed.

Trust me, the price is right, especially if it's out of the vehicle!

it's under a rolling/running total, so he needs an old rear end to keep it mobile.

Just need to epoxy some pieces together, then I'm set. Might stab the motor in later tonight.
Cross you fingers or whatever frogs have.

I would take the 44 if I can get a hold of diferent rear end to put into it. I am assuming that it doesnt need to be actually working right? Any ideas as to how to make this mine please let me know (I am not talking about the money either just the replacement rear) Thanks,

Rob

Keven, I'm going to try to find an axel to give him. Could I give him the $200 to hold it? How much are axel shafts and ring and pinion?

R&P with master rebuild kit is about $200, so budget $400 for that because you'll have to do the front also. Some alloy axle shafts are probably about $300+ for a pair but a junkyard set would probably cost about $150 if you could find some.

I think JP has my old D35, that could be used to keep this one rollin'.
Billy, you told Eric you'd buy his D44. He's counting on that money.

Thought it was the same D44 at first, I was wondering why anyone would want to buy a I5!
