broken 02 sensor

broke my 02 sensor at rockport ... :doh: need to know if a senor will work from a 91 wrangler ; i have a 96 xj. everything is the same but the plug. just trying to be cheap. or does anyone have one laying around? thanks

96 if I'm not mistaken is OBDII and uses a different emissions system than a 91YJ. Besides, if yours was original it's about time to replace it. Might help your gas milage some too...
Does the 95 have one or two sensors, 97+ have one upstream on the exhaust and one downstream on the cat.

'96 was the first year for OBD-II. I don't know if an earlier O2 sensor will fit but I'd be surprised. As RichP said, the O2 sensor should be replaced every 80,000 miles so it probably makes sense to bite the bullet and do it right.
