Factory u-joint size..???

Was just wondering if the front and rear u-joints on a 93 XJ are the same size.... Thinking of "re-building" a front driveshaft for the rear....

What do ya'll think.....????

The u-joints are the same size ... but the shafts aren't. You might use a front DS as a temporary trail spare, but I wouldn't leave it in there.

I was actually thinking about using the cv joint and building a new shaft.... I priced a built shaft today and they told me the cv joint was $200 alone... if I can get a used front cv joint, "maybe" I can build a new shaft alot cheaper..... what do you think....I found out that the u-jointa are all 1310's...
