Hi All,

Anyone know what the duct from a black box behind the left headlight, to a flanged pipe on the exhaust manifold is for? What its name is or purpose? Mine has a tear in it, and I can't find mention of it in my FSM.

Don't know the official name for it, but the purpose is to draw pre-heated air that passes over the exhaust manifold through the air intake box. Warm air vaporizes the gasoline more effectively than cold air, especially in winter.

In the automotive industry its actually called a pre-heater hose.
