Add-a-leaf to lifted springs

I have a set of 4.5" springs that are starting to sag. I think part of the problem is that they are too soft. I am wanting to put a 2.5" add-a-leaf onto my 4.5" lift springs. Will this stiffen them up a little bit? Will this even give me anymore lift? I know the add a leafs are for stock springs but I am hoping this will work.

It will certainly stiffen them up some. Any time you add a leaf it increases the spring rate.

The lift springs have significantly more arch than stock. Let's face it -- you have a 4.5" lift and you want to put in a leaf that's designed to provide a maximum of 2-1/2". I doubt very much that you're going to get any lift out of it. Maybe just enough to cure the sagging, but even that would be a bonus.
